I am not clear on your question...are you still under anesthetic from the procedure? You will be numb for a while, in fact, a few hours if he doctor used a longer acting anesthetic to numb you up.

Do you mean your numb in your gums or you can't feel anything with your tooth. The whole point of a root canal is to take away the nerves in that took and the roots. So you shouldn't feel that tooth, but you should be able to feel your gums. If it's just the tooth don't worry, if it's the area around it you might want to call your dentist there might be some damage.

that's what yer supposed to feel, a cool numbness. my root canal about two months ago felt the same way after i had left the dentists office. and on the tooth as well. should be a day or two till u feel comfortable enough to do what u wanna do.
