Should i leave it down and straighten it or scrunch it..

Whatever you do, make it easy to deal with. You don't want to be running to check on your hair all night! If you scrunch it then you can just have fun and not worry about it.

I think you should wet it, side part it, and scrunch it so it's wavy/curly. Straight hair can be very hot at dances. Trust me, I know. lol. Or if you want you could put it in a loose low side ponytail. Those are so cute. or pull up your bangs or front peices of hair back and leave the rest down. hope I helped and have fun at the dance!!

If you are dressing up, put it up for a sophisticated look. If you are wearing jeans and a top, put a couple nice pins in it just to keep it out of your face when you start to get a little "hot" on the dance floor and leave the rest loose. (Sweating under bangs or heavy loose hair will give you blemishes on the forhead.) If you are going with someting sexy, a "messy" up-do would be hot.
Make sure your style matches what you are wearing.

It really depends on the style of your dress. If your going for more of an elegant look go with straight, if your going for more fun look go for scrunch. Good luck, and have fun.

I think leave it down and straighten it and maybe add cute little barrettes. But remember--straitening your hair can dry it out a lot.

at my school dance i tied all my hair back into a really tight ponytail and left my fringe to one side of my face.. with my ponytail I crimped it and left it for half an hour then i let it down and gently put it in large rollers and sprayed it with leave in conditioner.. i promise it looks fab with a funky mane of curls and a sleek fringe...

We need more information. Sometimes the dress you are wearing looks better with your hair up, but other times it looks better with it down.

I guess it would depend on what you are wearing, but I would google french twist because it is a very simple, but fancy looking hairdo and I would have trouble explaining it.
