How do i find out without paying tons if my hair is healthy enough to dye again? As i want to dye it blonde, my natural colour, from black, i've gone through the goth phrase! It's fun!!
I will have to look into pre lightening and big stuff which will cause some harm to my hair, how do i find out if my hair is healthy enough to withstand it??
Plus in Septemeber i had a really bad haircut and my hair feels thinner then it did before the cut.
And how can i help it get healthier??
I'm already drinking more milk and eating more bread as well as taking supplements.
Any help is great !!

first i would say get a consultation from your salon or any salon and they will tell you if your hair is healthy enough.and by having a penetrating conditioning treatment it will help your hair lots and fix the cortex which has been damaged as well as smoothing the cuticle down allowing you to prepare for the colour in the future.i would to the penetrating conditioner once a week possibly twice if it looks really bad.to tell if your hair is ready for the colouring process feel how rough it is,does it look porous(absorbs alot of moisture) a clear indication is do an elasticity test which is to hold the hair mid-legnth to tip and spring in a back and forth motion and see if any breakage occurs.

Spend a little bit on a really good conditioner. I have long hair and colour a bit and conditioner really helps.
