If I understand it correctly, macroeconomics is a sub-field of economics that examines the behavior of the economy as a whole, once all of the individual economic decisions of companies and industries have been summed. Micro economics deal with individuals and households, and companies too, I guess.
I suppose some would imply some sort of parallel between believing in micro evolution while rejecting macro evolution and believing in micro economics while rejecting macro economics. Giving this more than a cursory glance, however, one finds no parallel. Macro evolution – the evolving of one organism into a completely new and different organism - has never been observed, produced or proven. They tried that with the fruit flies which only demonstrated micro evolution. Those fruit flies were malformed and inferior in longevity, viability and fertility. But they were still fruit flies. And when those mutated fruit flies mated, they began to produce normal fruit flies. Thus they preserved the fruit fly in its original form.
Of course, if there was no reference to evolution, I'm completely off base.

These two studies of economics are actually interdependent and complement one another since there are many overlapping issues between the two fields. For example, increased inflation (macro effect) would cause the price of raw materials to increase for companies and in turn affect the end product's price charged to the public.
The bottom line is that microeconomics takes a bottoms-up approach to analyzing the economy while macroeconomics takes a top-down approach. Regardless, what does this have to do with Christianity?

The invisible hand works only on individual utility decision and not across open markets.
