ok i have noticed a trend here.

you ask for some kind of proof to back up a specific belief and the counter-point is. "can you prove the opposite?"

for those of you who do this, is this your way of avoiding the truth of your ignorance for what you believe? can you not come to terms and claim it is by faith alone? what is it that makes you post a counter-question to a question.

Yeah that's annoying. It's because they can't think of anything because they have not learned how to think critically.

We are here for different reasons. I have learned that you better sugar coat your words because you might have to eat them.

I have seen many trends here, I have been here on and off from June. I never expected to make any friends. But the miracle happened. And I extended my Yahoo life to 360. I have friends from different faiths. You care about the destiny of others but if you really want to have friends, you need to be a friend first.

People do not care how much you know about the Bible or how you can prove that you have found the truth, unless you can show that you actually care.

I am not trying to win arguments. I am here to spread the gospel, the good news about that God loves us ALL. Some days I do better, but I know that God is on the job. He is in control.

Can you prove that people actually do that? aaaaaahahahahahahahahahahah!

But seriously, it's kind of stupid to ask if someone can prove something in the first place, anyway. Isn't it? I mean, nobody can prove God exists, and nobody can prove God doesn't exist. Why the debate over proof, at all? I don't see why, like you say, people can't just admit that their belief is based on faith, not hard facts like "the Bible says so" or "I know it's true because God said it's true", or to be fair, "God doesn't exist because I can't see him".

my belief is by faith alone....i am not avoiding any truth and i'm not ignorant. it's only when uppity evolution-followers insist their theory is air-tight that I ask for them to prove their position....and they never can.

i've noticed a trend myself...whenever asked to back up why they believe what they believe, atheists seem to respond with put-downs, mocking the askers intellengence, and the like. it's pretty consistant
