Germany. There's something genetic or in the water that makes them kick-*** soldiers.
And my opinion of the French as a bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkeys has absolutely no bearing on my statement.

Neither would win. They would declare war then deploy two soldiers each to engage in a shouting match at the border. In a few hours they would get sick of shouting because they can't understand each other anyway, sign an armistice, then borrow the money from the united states to pay for the war.

NOT AGAIN. GERMANY WOULD WHIP FRANCE INTO SUBMISSION. FRANCE WOULD THEN CALL FOR NATO TO DEFEND IT. NATO OF COURSE SHOULD JUST LET THEM FALL. WHO NEEDS THE BACK STABBERS ANY WAY. I RATHER DEAL WITH MODERN GERMANY THAN BUSTED FRANCE.
