Lets get something straight. Money is NOT the root of all evil. The bible clearly states the the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.

As for the churches begging for it? Well as Jesus said, we will always have the poor with us.

But really it is because people do not understand the truth of God and the power of god. They have become so inundated with half truths and empty promises and decptions that they have been cheated out of the truth.

To receive anything from God you must first BELIEVE. You must trust and believe that God will deliver. You must accept that God will give. But men today have become so convinced that God is not real that even those in the so called religious groups have stopped believing him.

Anyone can believe IN God but how about believing him? How about when he says I wish above all things that you may be prosperous, simply believing and accepting that that is the truth and expecting him to deliver on that truth?

How about a bit of simple beliving? Is that too much to ask? It's what God requires us to do to claim his promises. Believe that they are the truth and then act like it.

I believe and God has prospered my life. I am comfortable and have my needs met. And when things start to go wrong as sometimes they will, I turn to my heavenly father and simply ask for him to help. And he does.

Money is not evil, but the love of money is the root of all evil. according to God.... Yes, churches ask for money. Takes money to run churches , pay the pastors, have overseas missions, and all of it. and most churches also help out their poor ppl in their area with food and clothing. The tv preachers need a lot of money to have tv stations and so on. Are there some out there that are greedy? Sure. always happens. BUt you cant judge them all by the greediness of a few. Also, you dont have to give. Its a choice, just like believing. We are called to give as God tells us, and He will do that, if we stay in obedience to Him. Having to pay the church bills are not a lame execuse bud,its reality. Who pays for the hymnals, the organs, the carpet, the power and gas bills, phone billls, etc. They still gotta be paid, its a place to worship God, HIS HOUSE. SOme churches do have surplus, others dont have enuff. But, with their surplus , they are to have more ministries and help more ppl. Pastors usually have no other job and they have to pay their bills too to live. Churches pay their way, and should. What God says.... So, stop trying to see it as all evil. Some are, butall you can do is not give to the ones you feel God doesnt want you to give to, and pray for them. We arent to look to others for our faith. PPL often let us down, as they arent all Chrsitian, some just wear the title. We are to look only to Jesus and follow Him and pray for the others.

You are begging for an answer, so...

Your premise is wrong in 'if money is heart of all evil' - The bible, and Jesus is talking, says, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil."
Money itself is just a tool to equate time and services. It represents time spent, in a job, for example, converted to a standard of living through materials that exchange by a standard regulated by governmental control.
Stay away from churches that beg, you know where the money you donate is probably going to end up. On the other hand, churches that offer the opportunity to share in the rewards of the kingdom of God and that demonstrate they are a local representation of the house of God [social outreach, missions, healings, deliverance, -salvation in all its aspects] should be supported as it offers benefit not only temporally, but eternally as well.

Why do you speak of things you don't even know? That is not what the Bible says about money.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

It is the love and worhship of money that is the root of evil, not the collecting it for bill paying and living expenses.

Matthew 10:10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

This means that a working person is worthy of getting paid for their work. Tithing is what God expects from us to support the chruch.

Numbers 18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

Your post is lame.

Bah! No matter how many times this is corrected, some people WANT to argue, so they continue to misquote. It's the LOVE of money that is the root of MUCH evil. Churches don't have surpluses because that's not God's plan. We are called to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. And that job will never be done.

First off if one is going to quote scripture one should quote it correctly......

It says For the LOVE of money is the ROOT of all evil.

God only commands ONE way for Christians to give of their means (money), This is found in
1 Corinthians 16:1,2 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come
2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Do not confuse True Christians with other " churches" that do not follow only the word of God.

simply, because money is total proof of Gods' divine plan for the people who believed in Christ in the beginning to the bitter end. The {LOVE} of money can only lead to sinful acts you are correct but it is not all churches. You can not serve two Gods, for either you will love one and hate the other. So please do not base your spiritual decisions on the sinful misuse of money by a few churches. And know that churches do need to ask for money to function for the welfare of the communities they serve.

Most organized religions do not represent Christ, they represent themselves and their mission is to get as much money from people that they can. The day will come when they will have to answer to God for raping and plundering the people who believed in them, and took advantage of Gods word for gain. Satan is the founder of most religions.
