Some tend to forget that Jesus was truly human, He was taught by His mother to pray and the hebrew tradition.
Of course He's God incarnate but He's not superman.

He didn't have to, he just looked in the mirror and said, "Dude you need a shave."

Jesus was Jewish, and his family taught him how to pray in that tradition. Many people here say that Jesus was God and didn't need to be taught. I wonder if they also believe he exited the womb walking, talking, and potty-trained. Even those Christians who believe that Jesus was God must also believe he was human, and therefore needed to learn a few things. Then again, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

Maybe someone taught him maybe they didn't. If you find God, no one needs to teach you how to prayer. Prayer is essentially communication with God. Just talking to God is prayer. This short story may help you understand, There was this guy called Tom who was not born a Christian or anything. He didn't know how to pray and was clueless about catechism. But everyday he would walk into a church and say one line, "Jesus I'm here". One day he got hurt in an accident and was hospitalized and every day he spent in hospital Jesus would appear and say "Tom I'm here."

Jesus taught the disciples how to pray... not the other way around. In fact, he started a whole new form of prayer, just thanking God, surrendering to his will, praying for forgiveness, then requesting things.

Mother and Father. Remember He was here in a human form. Children belong to God.

Mary & Joseph. They would have taught him as all Jewish parents were required. It was not until Jesus was baptised that he remember his prior existence in heaven. That is when he began preaching for 3 1/2 years before his death.

I don't know about who TAUGHT Him to pray, but I believe Mary and Joseph probably set a pretty good example.

He was Jewish. He learned to pray with his family. Later, he traveled to the east, and learned about the other religions, buddhism, etc... John the Baptist baptized him, and they prayed. Jesus learned to pray from various people. - I'm an athiest, but it's all very interesting, don't you think?

GOD did. Jesus is God's son. In the Bbile it says ,a son will be like his father. That is so true. Whatever a son sees his father do, most likely he'll do the same.
