I am severely allergic to all hair dyes, even those found in health-food stores. My hair is black and getting white (not grey) around my temples. Anything else I can do to color just the white? I have tried those "touch-up" pencils, but they are messy and sticky.

Well an indian way is to put Henna. At those indian grocery stores you can find little tubes of Henna. Then leave it for around 2 hours. Henna is a natural ingredient from some plant.

If you could have darkish hair, the colours may not be very obvious until you bleach your hair first. Bleaching is not as unhealthy because it sounds. Your hair grows out and you're going to finally reduce off the bleached ingredients, leaving common healthful hair once more. Manic panic is not a foul company. I had a good time with it as a youngster.
