crowfeather - It really does. I've had 2 migraines in my life, and each time, they have calmed down and gone away after I've drank orange juice. My mom told me to do it.

That's interesting, all I ever heard was that it caused Migraines. Where did you hear or see this?

i am not sure but they give you oranges after donating blood, so maybe there is some connection.

I would have to say that this is because the vitamin c and acid in the oranges decrease blood flow and acts as a vasoconstricter. therefore reducing headache by constricting the blood vessels or something like that.

Vitamin C - it raises the heart rate slightly providing more oxygen to the brain.
