I only spend 20 dollars (this includes non food items). It is just me alone. I tend to run out by mid week though because I take the bus and walk , therefor I can't buy alot of canned foods or bulk items. Most of my purchases are frozen foods.

Are you serious? I have a house of 6 people and spend about 250 dollars a week. My sister has her household of her and her boyfriend...they spend 80 a week. How do you do that?

hey there.. Well I spend $300.00 a month or ($75.00 a week) for my fam of 4.. That also includes food for the dog, cat, guinea pig, bird, and 5 rabbits..
I buy in bulk, and buy things on sale.. I have very big pantry and cook almost everything from scratch..
I go shopping once a month and that includes bread and milk for the month too.. I save lots of money this way!

It can really vary depending on what we want to eat that week but I can tell its alway way over 100.00 ande thats not counting the paer products and cleaning supplies that we may get at the dollar store or while doing regular shopping.. and sometimes doesnt include the pet food.....kitties and pup have to eat too.....

I spend about 70 bucks a week on myself, food and whatnot.
20 dollars a week sounds like too little for a guy.

Probably around $100+,thats for 2 adults and 2 children,and thats just on food,three meals a day adds up!

wow! i dont know how you do it! but if youre running out by mid week i guess you should really double that amount...so it would really cost you 40/wk....thats still damn good! i spend at LEAST 100/wk...but i have two teenage boys and a hubby...so feeding them can get pretty costly...that doesnt even include non-food items ACK!

My boyfriend and I go every friday, we take turns paying and usually spend $50. to $70. per week. We've been doing that for three years. It's our friday after-work ritual. That lasts us just fine.
