that mary was infact "impregnated" by god and not the angel who appeared to her?

the bible calls the offspring of man and angel evil. the pharisees knowing this would obviously take it upon themselves to rid the world of these "evils".

so why then, could mary not have been impregnated by the angel instead, giving birth to jesus who was a "hero of old" and a "man of renown" which is exactly as the bible describes the offspring of man and angel.

the only thing you have to go by is the mary's word. mary said it was god. could she have been doing this to protect her child from the pharisees?

if not how else can you prove it? dont say "the bible says mary was..." because thats what mary claimed. i dont want her claim. one persons claim would not hold up so well in court.

Nobody I think can prove that. It is just a matter of faith and you know, that kind of thought including yours are deeply respectable.

The ONLY thing I can tell you is what GOD says about it in His word. God put a baby inside of Mary, and Mary had not had sex. Immaculate conception. Bible is clear on this. If you dont believe the Bible, then nothing I say will convince you. BEcause the Bible is the word of God, not the word of Mary. I dont go along with Catholic teachings, as I am full gospel Christian. We believe in Bible only and all of it. What God says, settles it and thats it.
God tells us was impregnanted by God, without no sex. Just something God did, like creating the mountains and the ocean He speaks things into existence. all in His word. amen
Angels dont have sex, they are spirits, thats in the Bible too.
BEcause God made this baby, this baby was able to live a life of perfection for us, and go to the cross and die for us. He sent his side inside that baby, and God can do anything He wants to do.
He is the only one to give life and take life. and I pray for all of those who continually reject Him and HIs word. All must change before they die, or Jesus comes, whichever comes first.
Prove it/? We dont have to prove it. Can you prove it didnt happen? Its like what came first, the chicken or the egg,and does it matter. Both are real, ok. Mary was simply the one God picked as Jesus' mother. she isnt the one we worship or pray to.
you say not one persons voice would hold up in court. You are sooo wrong. Sometimes thats all it takes. And, when it is God there teestifying, believe me, all will know. And Jesus tells us one day that all will know HIm as Lord and will bow. But, for many that day willl come too late. He is coming soon, so start studing for yourself...

I have read of the "Sons of God" impregnating females (human) in the Bible, and thus the race of giants were born. Says nothing about evil. Besides, Mary conceived through the Holy Spirit, not just an angel. Can you prove "without a doubt" that she wasn't? YBIC

Let me ask you this. Can you prove beyond reasonable doubt that she wasn't? And that it wasn't God? Be careful what you ask. or what you say. If you are calling God a liar, your in trouble. If God does exist. If not ,you still couldn't prove she was impregnated by anyone else.
Yes ,but to understand what God meant by saying "hero of old, and a man of renown" You must understand, what God meant by it .
Jesus was the son of man, but not physically. Jesus was the son of God. Jesus was an angel before he was human. And jesus was the word, before man was created. being a man of renown means one known throughout the land, as a prophet. and a hero of old could mean that jesus is here to save man from destruction, as men of old(phophets). who tried to warn the people of their time period what Will happen if they choose to do this to that.

Here you are. While it could take place before Gen. 6, after the Flood we see no more cases of angels impregnating women, God didn't allow that to continue.

Furthermore, it was prophesied in the old Testament, hundreds of years before it actually happened, that she would conceive being a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). That could only be a miracle from Almighty God!!!

The prophecies that discuss the virgin birth of the messiah and then the prophecies that describe the messiah and what he will do. These prove that Jesus was infact the Messiah. So if these things prove that he was the Messiah, who was the Messiah born to?.....Mary.

The Old Testament prophecies prove it is true.

Do you forget that when Joseph was told Mary was with child he was going to quietly put her away because he know the child wasn't his but an Angel came to him and told him to go ahead and marry her because the baby was God's son and to name him Jesus. Then the fact John recognized Jesus for Who he was when he was asked to Baptize him saying "I am not fit to loose the sandals on your feet. It is you who should Baptize me." The old man Simon when they brought Jesus to be circumcised said he was glad he had lived to see the Messiah come.

For many centuries the bible said that Mary was a "young girl". It wasn't until the last couple of centuries when they changed the bible to say that she was a young virgin. It is all a hoax.

God used the seed of Abraham to "impregnate" Mary.

Why do you want an explanation for what you have already decided your not going to believe anyway? God said it. I believe it. Amen
