My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Did he just miss me or does he have bad intentions? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends? He's 26 & more experienced while I'm 21 & he was my first bf.

First off congratulations for having respect for yourself and wanting to wait. You have to understand that you are one in a million. Maybe this is why this guy is back. He knows he lost something good. I wouldn't think he's checking up.

he's not a control freak but sound like he doens;t know what he wnats and wants to be able to go out with you and hang out with you with no title. If you let him- this will continue and he will not respect you. If i were you- i would not agree to go out with him again- sounds like something fishy is going on with him that he isn't telling you. He's probably met someone else and wants to keep you on the side in case his new gurl doens't work out for him. Don't let him treat you this way that he can jsut pick you up whenever- if he really cared and wanted to be with you- the least he could do is ask you to be his gurl agian. WHy didny ou guys break up>? did he just ned a break from relationships period or from you>?>? i would not go out with him again if i were you. Sounds like he only wants to use you when he feels like it and leave you.

I don't think he's a control freak. It sounds like you two have remained friends even after the breakup. It was probably just a friendly date.

He probably not seeing anyone that interest him so you came to mind. Take note that he said he only wants to see you once in a while...that probably means whenever he is lonely or something else...until he finds someone he'll be really interested in pursuing. Tread with caution my friend.

It simply sounds as if he just wants to be your friend..nothing more and he is not being a controll freak..
Be happy you have a friend to hang out with, relax and dont look deeper into things that are not there...

stop it!!! just avoid him when he comes into town and move on -- you've got so much more to your life than to worry about some jerk -- bf or not -- you're NOT ANY MORE so grow up and close the chapter because you know what --someone else is waiting to come into your life and unless you stop it, you may miss a great opportunity.

i don't think he sounds like a control freak. just like he might want to start something with you again. a control freak would be controlling all your actions. just talking on msn and going out to a movie and him saying he wants to see you again does not count; in fact, it sounds nice.

it sounds like he wants something from you. not so much control freak, but if u feel like he's trying to get you to do something that you don't wanna do, then tell him to go off himself.
