Any food can cause weight gain.....the key to loosing or keeping your current weight....is the amount of calories you take in.You should eat a well balanced diet.
Fruits(fresh or frozen are good....low in calories...lots of vitamins and nutrients)
Oatmeal,popcorn...high in fiber....keeps you feeling full longer.
Reduced fat pretzels are a good snack....high in carbohydrates...for quick energy.
There are better cereals than special k....the serving size on special k is very small for the amount of calories.
Read the labels and compare.
Low fat meats such as chicken for protein and don't forget low or fat free milk products.Hope this helps!

Yes. The Special K and Oatmeal is ok with real fruit not the dried stuff they put in it. Popcorn is not good because of the salt and butter that is usually on it but air popped corn is good without the salt and butter.

Moderation is the key...All foods have calories and if you eat more calories then you burn, you gain weight - even on low cal/fat free type foods. Some of the leanest skinniest people I know regularly eat chocolate and fast food, but they are also very active - it's all relative.

none of those are fattening there also not calorie free some of them are quit high in calories , like the cereal it says like 150 cal per serving of course read closer a serving is half a cup, nobody eats only half a cup when you eat an average bowl it's about 1-1.5 cups .so take a closer look to the nutrition facts.

Weight gain can be caused by some food you eat, but to be specific these food will not cause weight gain if you eat them and exercise on a daily basis. Weight gain is caused by calories taken in and calories burn off for a particular time frame. If you eat these foods and have a exercise program that will burn your over excess of calories you take in, you will not gain weight

All foods can cause weight gain. The key is to burn more calories than you consume. It is a very simple weight loss idea that seems to be lost in the "South Beach"/"Atkins" type diets.

it depends on how many calories you eat, not what you eat

if you're worried about what is healthy and what is not, the only thing on your list that doesn't have nutritional value is the pretzels, unless you get whole grain pretzels.....if you put butter and salt on the popcorn, it will also become unhealthy

I'm fairly sure all foods will cause weight gain if eaten in suitable quantities, so yes.

Remember if you are gaining weight eat less and exercise more.
