And do you think we will or not? Rumors are that there are plans to start a war with Iran before the summer this year. Sometime in April.

I think that we should.

They are going to have nuclear weapons soon enough, and I don't want to see their list of countries they would like to bomb.

What is more important, defending a nation or glorifying it warmaking powers?
Are there other ways to defend a nation or is military action the only possible solution?
When did Iran declare war upon US or anyone else for that matter?
Forget what their president supposedly said as it was a deliberate attempt, propaganda ploy to inflame tensions by US and Israeli interest here, and not some lost in translation to put words in his mouth he never spoke as all the Euro, Asian and world papers gave the true interprettation on "Zionist Expansion Actions" not Israel as a nation.
Leave out the point that if Israel and Iran cannot get along it is no buisness of ours how they settle the quarrell.
As for the religious BS of it is our buisness; If their God is so all powerfull then let Him defend the Nation of Israel and why does he need US military equipment to do it?
These are not tin soldiers or weebles we an knock about and return to play with the next day they are flesh and blood having same desires and loves as most people in world have.
National Interest come over and above Corporate or political power of a few, and smashing someone just because we can is one small petty way to run a country and it brings shame upon this once once great nation.
"Just because" may work and salve your shame when you get caught playing with yourself by parent but in real world the "just because" should not be reason enough to kill others no matter how good it feels to oneself!

Well.. look at the map.. Iran has by far the largest oil deposits in the Mid-East.. Bush is occupying both Iraq and Afghanistan.. Iran is in the middle.. $$$ ..always about the oil..

I think we should have never gone to that area of the world.. but the oil syndicate is and always has been drooling over the profits to be had.. 911 never would have happened if it weren't for the greedy slobs trying to grab all they can..

Who knows what will happen if Bush starts a new war...??? He may decide it isn't good to leave office for several years.. declare a national emergency..

Diplomacy must be pursued. Iran had already indicated previously that it is willing to have a diplomatic dialogue with the U.S., if only the U.S. agrees to talk to them. However, Bush continually ignore this, and is just too happy to pull the trigger on Iran.

Remember that in the Iraq Study Group's recommendations, one of the proposals is to start initiating talks with Iran and Syria, who have a considerable influence on the peace and security of Iraq.
But Bush disregarded the Study Group's recommendations and did his own way, by sending additional 21,000 more American troops to harm's way.

If war indeed breaks out in Iran, Bush is the one to blame for his faulty foreign policies. And any American blood spilled over there will be clearly on Bush's hands.

Well they want to usher in the Biblical end times. They claim they need nuclear energy as a cheap energy source for their people when they live on a lake of oil. They are terrorist sponsors, (Hezbollah is funded by Iran) they are dedicated to the domination of the globe by Islam. Any one of those or combination there of is reason enough for me lets party man bring on your week a*s nuke we will make that place a Glass parking lot.

There will not be a war with Iran. The majority of American people would not support it.

WAR OR NOT, IRAN WILL NOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS. THESE HATEFUL BIGOTS CAN'T LEARN TO LIVE WITH DIFFERENCES AND SURELY THEY MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY.

REMEMBER, WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY. NUCLEAR POWER IS JUST TOO HOT FOR THESE BIGOTS TO HANDLE.

NOW...I AM NOT GOING TO PRETEND. DIPLOMACY WILL NOT WORK WITH THE IRANIANS. TRYING TO MAKE THEM ABANDON THEIR NUCLEAR "LOVE CRUSH" IS LIKE TRYING TO GRAB WIND WITH YOUR HANDS. IT WON'T WORK WITH THEM.

WHAT I DO PROMOTE IS A MILITARY "STRIPTEASE" BEFORE ACTUAL CONFRONTATION WITH THE IRANIANS. 2 U.S. AIRCRAFT CARRIERS HAVE BEEN MOVED IN TO PERSIAN GULF/ARABIAN SEA REGION.

HERE IS A QUICK PIC: http://www.defenselink.mil/photos/Jul2000/000629-N-8031S-001.jpg

IT DEFINITELY SCARED THE CLOTHES OFF THE IRANIANS BUT THEY WILL PLAY THEIR FAVORITE GAME OF "BULLY."

CONSTANT PRESSURE LIKE THIS HAS TO BE KEPT ON THE IRANIANS.

BUT WHATEVER THEY DO, THEY WON'T BACK DOWN: THEY HAVE COME TOO FAR WITH THEIR LOFTY SPEECHES AND IT IS JUST TOO LATE FOR THEM TO SWALLOW THEIR PRIDE.

THIS "STANDOFF" WILL LEAD TO TO WAR THAT I WILL STRONGLY SUPPORT.

ps: ALSO, THESE ARE JUST AMERICAN PLANS. ISRAELI PILOTS ARE ALSO TRIANING FOR A LONG RANGE MISSION. POSSIBLY TO IRAN. ISRAEL WILL NOT TOLERATE AN IRANIAN BOMB.

TO IRANIAN GOVERNMENT: COMPLY BEFORE ITS TOO LATE, IDIOTS. YOU DON'T STAND A DEVIL'S CHANCE AGAINST THE U.S. MILITARY. YES, AMERICA MADE MISTAKES IN IRAQ BUT THEY HAVE LEARNED WELL. DON'T THINK YOU CAN CARRY OUT AN INSURGENCY LIKE IN IRAQ.

No, wars are not good, however for a while it was mans most successful means of population control.

Whether you will win or not depends on your definition of winning.

Why not? We should turn the middle east in to a glass wasteland. A few nukes oughta do it.
