We are about to sell our house. How do we whiten plastic radiator knobs that have yellowed with age and heat?

Your hardware store should have a paint (one is call Fusion) that is made for plastic. Just clean off any dirt, grease or oil and paint them white. Really works well, doesn't cost much and is easy to use.
