Funds are usually received within 24 hours of IRS acceptance of your federal tax return. If the bank denies you the loan it is automatically converted to a .An Electronic Refund Check (ERC) is an electronic deposit of your federal and/or state refunds into the service bank. You can receive your refund check in office or have it direct deposited into your bank account. I began getting refund in January, 2006 on my first paycheck! I figured out what I should be paying in taxes for the year 2006, divided by the number of pay periods in the year, filed a new W-4 with my employer so that the withholding equaled my estimated taxes. This put another $45 dollars in each paycheck.
Rather than spend this I stepped up my contribution to my 401(k) plan. My employer matched this at a rate of 50 cents for each dollar I contributed. So rather than blow some tax refund each April on something I don't really need I ended up lowering my taxes (401(k) contributions are not taxed) and significantly increased my savings.
I think I'm finally on my way to getting financially smart!

You may call the IRS tax refund hotline at 800-829-1954 to check the status of your refund...
Since you are getting a RAL (which is nothing more than a high interest loan) the date may not be correct. Check with Tax preparer.

Last year i filed early - like Jan 20 and it only took about 3 weeks for me to get both checks.
If i had to guess i would say your check should be there by the middle of february.
Some people say 6 weeks just to be on the safe side but when u file early its never that long.
also i think you can check online - im not of the site though --- google it.
