I have an overbite, my upper teeth go over my bottoms but not completely. But my two front teeth do not stick out. Is this still considered an overbite or just the way my jaw/mouth is aligned?

Only one third of the lower front teeth should be covered by the upper front teeth when the back teeth are at clenched position. Anything more than that is usually considered as overbite and it may lead to evertion of the lower lip and reduce the comestic appearence. It can be corrected by wearing bite raising appliance done by general dental practioner or an orthodontist

Your question is kind of confusing.....

Your upper teeth are supposed to go over your bottom teeth.

For example my teeth used to sit right on top of each other and that was called an under bite. I had braces and all that jazz and now the top fits nicely infront of my bottom teeth.

Yes, that is a minor case of an overbite and you should go to the dentist. You most probably will need braces to fix the problem.
