first of all, put the piercing back in, backwards. So that the stud part (I'm assuming this is a stud) is facing your teeth.
Balls are easy to find and cheap.
It depends on your body as to how long you have until it closes up, but oral piercings do close quicker than other piercings.
When I was younger, I had my toungue peirced for more than a year and I took it out one night and I had to get through a few layers to put the stud back in.

Hi! In reality if you took out your piercing than, as the lip skin heals quickly, it is better to put there another till the 24 hours. But good news: after the piercing's hole gets smaller you can take some oil and treat the skin, then push the new piercing.

You can leave the stud in without the ball, just make sure that you don't swallow the stud. My ex bf didn't ever wear his ball, but he took his stud out to eat. You can get a ball easily though that's the good news.
But it probably won't grow up for a couple days or weeks.

Depend on your skin and how good you heal.If you heal quick then i suggest to find a way to keep in when your at home like rip the eraser off the end of a pencil and shove it at the end of your barbel and just remove it before leaving the house.

you should take that out now. and do not ever pierce your own body back. you've the incorrect ring in for only getting it executed. you'll b nice yet you'll prob have an gruesome bump of scar tissue. Take it out and sparkling it with h2ocean you could get it any were. And if u did get it executed professional than they must have instructed you a thanks to take care of it.
