I've known Jamaican men and find that like other men some are wonderful and some not so wonderful.
However, like many Caribbean men they are proud [a trait I love]; dedicated to family and NOT afraid to say when they are in love.
Caribbean men [IMHO] vary slightly depending on whether they still live in their native homes or have transplanted to the US - unfortunately some take on the traits of mainland men.

I'm a Jamaican woman. Your question is quite vague but I will attempt to answer to the best of my ability. As a whole, Jamaican men are very confident and proud. They are good providers and supportive of their women.
BTW, not all Jamaicans smoke weed.

From my experiences they are extremely possessive. I dated two of them in high school and one of my friends is married to a Jamaican man and he is the very same way. However on the positive side they are also excellent providers. I am not sure if they are all possessive but ALL of the ones that I know are hard working and excellent providers.

Not for me, thanks. I think they tend to be (realizing that this is an oversimplification) womanizing.
