dreams are imaginings. your imagination getting you with a girl you thought about but never had seems usual. But your imagination conjuring up a girl you had isn't as likely. because that would be your memory, not your dream-imagination. If you do dream about someone you were with, you should probably try to hook back up. That must've been good.

Did you ever care or love them? If they aren't in your mind they usually don't show up in dreams.
