Money shouldn't be the primary factor that determines what job you get. It would be worth your time to sit down and think about what you enjoy doing. Think about what day-to-day activities you can see yourself doing for a living. Once you've settled on a particular job, the job's requirements should become apparent to you. If not, see if you can spend a couple of minutes with someone that already does that job to see what's required.

Do some people make good money without good grades, yes - SOME people do, but they are the exception, not the rule. Some people win the lottery too. For the rest of us, education is certainly more of a guarantee of being considered for a high paying job. A college graduate makes 10K more a year than a high school graduate within one year of graduation and as each year passes that the amount of money goes up drastically. Depending on where you live you will need to make about thirty dollars an hour to live the life you are talking about and that is still going to be modest. Look at the want ads in your community, which jobs pay that? What are the education requirements?

The first thing you need to do is improve your grammar. Replacing you with "u" shows laziness (even if you are not). You never know when you will meet your next employer, and I guarantee that if you use Internet abbreviations in public forum, you will be passed up for others with better spelling and grammar. I highly recommend that you conduct yourself at all times like your next employer is in the room. Next, your grades are a direct result of your effort...Let me explain:
Many people who have low grades are adding extra things to their lives, mostly social things, and those things require brain power that you could be investing in your education and knowledge. Partying should go away completely if you ever want to get ahead in life. Serious relationships should be set aside until you can financially support them, use the television as a place to put your books rather than an object that diverts your attention away from your studies. Do these things and your grade will improve because you are not being pulled away from studies. Turn off the cellphone, too. Is it really necessary in college?
Now on to your question... I made over six digits this year and never went to college. Of course it's possible. I chose real estate for my income, but your choice could be any number of thousands of choices. It is not necessary to go to college to make good money, BUT most employers who pay large salaries require a college education. By Education, I mean the actual smarts, not the degree. It's easy to fake your way through school. Employers want knowledgeable people, not just people who squeaked by. Put away the unnecessary stuff and dive in to your studies. I guarantee that a good education, and a good attitude is a recipe for success.

You can look at all the statistics you want about how much more money a college grad makes every year after graduation, but I can guarantee you tradesmen (that are worth their weight) make equal or more money than most college grads. I'm not talking about doctors and lawyers, but I would put a good electrician, plumber, carpenter, or HVAC technician against a good accountant or business manager any day of the week as far as wages go. Teens these days are being brainwashed in to thinking that they can't make it without going to college. This is the main reason why we are expieriencing such a shortage in the construction crafts right now. I won't tell anyone that education is not worth while, but it takes blue collar auto mechanics and equipment operators to make this country move too.

It really depends on how determined you are and what occupation you choose. Some people who never even graduated are extremely successful. Usually you should have at least a high school diploma to be on the safe side. There are hundreds of jobs out there that are willing to pay good money depending on how urgent the position needs to be filled. I'd recommend you try your hardest in school though, you would have a better time trying to get into a college.

What do I think? I think you should do whatever it takes to become a strong knowledgeable person who can read and write well! Get a tutor, join a reading group, self-study - do whatever it takes. With or without college it is the ABILITY that you need. I can tell by your post that you struggle with good English. That is not an insult it is a fact. Hey my first year in graduate school I nearly failed - I had to be aggressive and go GET the help I needed to write well, write good test answers and so forth. In other words it is the SKILLS you need. Then you can complete college or not but it iwll be your choice.

Just b/c your grades are crap don't mean anything, my transcript up to this year looks like crap (hopefully a 2.0) seriously and I am wanting to go to 4yr college, do foreign exchange, get my BBA and then go to a better college for another 2 to 4 years to get my MBA and the sector I will go into is International Investment Banking, and will start off with a $92,000 easy........so if you want it you'll do what it takes no matter what, even if you are in college, I know someone who lost his scholarship, but after that he worked his tail off now he is about to get his associate degree despite the circumstances. And like me I am in High School (Senior) and will face the challenges, but if I want that MBA I will do everything in my power to make 3.0 and above (critera for MBA)....good question.....also if you are lucky and land a spot in a high paying facility that you have the skills for the high paying department, and you could work your way up in 10 years through grunt work....depends

It is possible to have a high paying job without a college education. But its going to be a lot more difficult to find that great job without a degree on your resume. You will have a lot better shot if you finish your degree and then seek the high paying employment.
Attend class and study! That's how you bring up your grades!

Mark Twain said
"i have never let schooling get in th way of my education."
Join a company that will let you climb the corporate hore ladder and you never know where you might go.
either school or business you have to convince people to give you a promotion or an A. If you want money you have to get people to buy your "stuff" whether its a term paper or snacky poo's
There got to be lots of people without degree's who have lots of money.
But don't plan on being my doctor!!!!
