I'm in a condo and my neighbors don't pick up their dogs droppings infront of my grassy unit. I'm really not sure if it's them or not; just an assumption. I really want to catch the person in the act so I can tell them to pick it up.

I have a dog, but I take care of the responsibilty.

I was wondering if anyone of you has ever used a dog repel to prevent dogs from doing their business. Is it harmful? Is it effective? What are good types/brands to work with?

who ever is letting their dog do this is irresponsible. i havent tried the repels you talk of, im from uk. could you not try shaming them by putting a sign up asking dog owners to pick their dog mess up maybe this would work or else you will have to keep watch until you find out who it is then wait till thev.e gone pick the poop up and post it through there letter box with a note saying i think this belongs to u that should work.......xxx.

why not bring this up with your HOA ? Have them post signs asking people to pick up after their dogs . Actually I am in the process of moving and all the condos I have looked at have the signs posted and bags available for their dogs . I think that you should say something at the next meeting . Never used any of the repels sorry. But i hope i helped anyway.

I would bring it up to the HOA and have them work the problem, I have not heard of the repels being very effective.
