No you would not be wrong. Because he will be talking to other women. He wants a break from commitment but wants all the benefits that go with it. Give him the space that he needs and keep yourself busy with different activities.

talk to whoever u want while hes on a break, if u fall for someone else, thats his problem for calling a break in the first place.
ask him does he want to chat to other girls, why else would he want a break?
if he wanted some space he could have just said im giving us some space for a few weeks, he didnt have to call a break

This means he wants to be able to come back to you for a booty call while he's out screwing other chicks. If you're fine with this, don't do anything. Otherwise let him know that he can either be with you, or without you. Not something inbetween. You're worth more than that and there are other men out there that will see that. Lose him.

Usually, when someone says they want a break, they really want to see someone else but just don't want to say it. If you want to talk to someone else while he needs his space, go for it. More than likely, he's talking to someone too.

yeah when a guy says he wants a break, he just means that he wants to mess with another girl for a while, and then if it doesnt work out with her he can still come back to you.

He wants to have his cake and eat it too. Being on a break means he gets to date other girls, while you wait around for him. Either you're together or you're not- you have to decide what you want, not wait for him to tell you what he wants.

my b/f wanted to do the same thing...a break means that its basiclly over until he says he wants you back...dont listen to him...but if he says that he wants a break and says that he wants eveything the same....then whats the point of a break?! feel me?!
