I would estimate about two hours unless there are of other problems like uneven or broke tiles. Make sure you get the estimate in writing before they start. My wife and I did our livingroom and hallway in about three hours but we didn't have all the tools at first to make it go faster. Good luck
not sure way the thumbs down ?????

A hundred square feet of laminate should take about three hours, considering doing it right. Under cutting doorways, tapping pad seams, etc. An additional hour or two to replace the base board and add shoe molding...

the same amount of time it takes to install pre-finished solid oak flooring, a day and the flr will last longer than laminate.
You can find oak or other types @ 175 to 300 and the install is 2.00 at foot.
not bad for an appreciated value in your home too.

100 sq ft is not that big. The most time spent would be cutting to length and around the island. Shoulddn't take much more than 1/2 a day.

Half a day, but your substrate could be a problem is the tile has any problems, or if there are deep grout joints.
