Generally, farmed raised fish have more fat content in them than naturally occuring fish. If the question is which are healthier to eat, it is generally better to eat fresh caught, "ocean raised" fish. If the question is "which have better health?"...I don't know...

Both types of salmon have similar levels of mercury, but farmed salmon are likely to have much higher levels of PCBs, pesticides, and other organic pollutants. Both wild and farmed salmon are safer to eat than tuna.
The chemicals in farmed salmon depend primarily on the feed source, so the contaminants levels differ for different producers. Some producers are taking steps to reduce the toxic compounds in the feed, and others have not changed their feeding practices. Some producers also use dyes and antibiotics in the food, and which can remain in the tissues in trace amounts. The biggest problem right now is that the consumer doesn't have any way of knowing what type of food was given to the farm fish.
Based on the study in the referenced link, it is not safe to eat farmed salmon more than once per week, while wild salmon can be consumed about 10 times per week with the same level of safety. There are other studies with different results because there is so much variation in the food fed to farmed salmon.

"ocean raised " and "ocean caught" are different terms. I have talked to sailboaters who worked for a "fish farm" in the ocean. They worked the summer processing fish from a fenced in area in the ocean.I have heard both ways regarding the mercury pollution, that farm raised were worse and better. They are raised healthy. They give you the same omega oils. They are addind color to the feed in the rarm raised that enhances the color of the fish you see in the market.

they are physically distinguishable by appearance. Farmed ones develop smaller tails as they do less energetic swimming.
I believe farmed salmon have proportionately less oil of the omega 3 type.

They may be healthier, because they will usually have lower levels of mercury in them.
