yeah. satan cannot do anything without gods permission.
therefore satan is nothing more then a pawn used by god. basically a scapegoat, god can blame satan for doing things when in actuality its gods fault.
if an owner of a dog allows the dog to bite you, (gives permission to the dog). who then do you blame and who are u then to forgive? the owner or the dog?

Since Adam's expulsion from Eden, Satan has been the ruler of the current system of things; Satan tests, tempts, and harasses mankind without asking permission.
(1 John 5:19) We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.
(Luke 4:5-6) [Satan] brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time; and the Devil said to [Jesus]: “I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it.
Of course, Satan was interested in more than simply trying the one man Job.
Satan was interested in making a point that *ANY* human could be compromised in his devotion to the Almighty. Job proved Satan a liar, and every human alive today has the opportunity to do the same.
(Job 1:9-11) Satan answered Jehovah and said: “Is it for nothing that Job has feared God? 10 Have not you yourself put up a hedge about him and about his house and about everything that he has all around? The work of his hands you have blessed, and his livestock itself has spread abroad in the earth. 11 But, for a change, thrust out your hand, please, and touch everything he has and see whether he will not curse you to your very face.”
(Proverbs 27:11) Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me.
(Job 1:9) At that Satan answered Jehovah and said: “Is it for nothing that Job has feared God?

yes. Christ was tempted in all things that we face. Nothing can happen that is not filtered through El ELYON ( GOD MOST HIGH)
If you are just trying to find fault with the way GOD does things then you need to remember that HE is in charge here not us. HE does things for our own good and those who were tested in the BIBLE were tested to glorify GOD, to build up their own soul and as a witness to others. To be a Christian does not mean that one should expect a perfect life with no troubles. It is the opposite in fact. We understand going in that we will face persecution and hard times but we choose to take up our Cross and follow HIM anyway. How can we ask for a perfect life with no troubles when HE went through so much for us?

He tempted Job, with Gods permission and He allowed the world (Us) to either accept Jesus or deny Him. Obviously, we denied Him and crucified him.

i believe god did. Just like the devil has to get permisson to try us. God wants to see who really believes and who really loves him. So if the devil is trying to put you through things just pray and everything will be ok. Just Remember God is on your side!!!

That's a good question. Probably. I can't believe you're missing the biggest question of the century though... I wonder if you'll find it? Even I dare not ask it.

that is a really good question.
Perhaps Satan knew that Jesus was God and felt comfortable speaking directly to him since he has that right in heaven.
Never thought of that....good question.
