This would be a large, independent church with "clicks", favoritism and nepotism evident in leadership. BTW - I've been praying about it for over 3 years and nothing has changed. Serious answers only please.

It's not wrong to leave a church if you are not happy there. Christians are just people like everyone else, just trying to live for God and do what's right. Not perfect, just human, and the only difference is we're forgiven. There's a big misconception that Christians are perfect and therefore never make mistakes or sin. Yes, we do. We just realize our sin and ask forgiveness and try to not do it again.
Maybe they don't realize they are "clicky" and uninviting to you. Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. Been through it many times.
Since this is a problem with you, how do you feel everytime you leave church? Do you feel great, refreshed, renewed, like you've really worshipped God? Or do you feel mad, ticked off, hurt, offended? It has been 3 yrs. You are very patient! You can either try to fit in or force yourself into their click or move on to a new church. God goes everywhere, not just to one church. He will be there if you try a new church. Just try it. You may go running back to your other church, if you find it's the same problem. It's hard to fit in when you're the new person.
We just switched to a bigger church from a small church because of many reasons. We are the new people and don't know anyone. There are clicks, just like there were at the smaller church. It's everywhere. It doesn't just end in high school! But after being in a small church where everyone knew my business, I love that no one knows me or my business. I go in, worship God and leave feeling great. I don't wanna be in a group or click.
At my other church my dad was the pastor. He passed away a few months ago and I just had to leave because of all the mess going on there. The new pastor didn't want to cause any problems, so he was letting the people take over and make new rules, etc. I always left feeling worse than when I came.
You have to remember what's important. If you are unhappy, try a new church.

Your church has problems, just like so many others.
In my church the same thing happened. there finally came a shakedown of the infrastructure of the church. It will eventually destroy the church. They all don't stand forever. As far as clicks, favoritism and nepotism go, why don't you go to church for YOU. Forget about the rest, they are distractions put in your way to lead you from the church. Keep the Faith, Brother!
God Bless

That's what churches are all about. Those who give the most money get the most favours. Those who pamper the church leadership will always reap the benefits.

This has been a way of life in the church since it was founded, and will continue to be so until the church dies.

First you would need to ask yourself is this the right church for me? Am I getting the teaching I need to make it to heaven? Am I right with GOD? Another thing is this journey to heaven is an individual thing so don't worry about people if they have clicks because if they are doing wrong guess what that whole click needs to repent or HELL will be there permanent home. So don't just leave because of people if you know in your heart that this is the right church and you are pleasing in GODS sight then thats all that matters.

you haven't any longer on the grounds which you ask no longer. i think of you have provided a stable adequate reason. in case you be conscious it an identical on your W.L., a minimum of, he could provide you tryout and supply you rationalization why he hasn't asked. My journey is that leaders often get mushy with what works and don't decide for to restoration something that ain't broke. I applaud your braveness and willingness to apply your presents greater. that's frequently greater like pulling tooth attempting to locate a soloist. undergo in innovations, you will probable in no way detect a greater forgiving aim industry than your individual church. So decide for it!

Leave. Seriously.

You don't need them. After all, Jesus told you to go into a closet to pray. You can follow your faith without following the clique.

Seriously you should also consider what you've learned. Do you believe god chose those people to lead that church? They do. So do most of the people in the church. Do you believe a god who cares about people, a god who works in people's lives, would allow this to happen? I find it easier to believe that god does not exist than believe that god exists and watches us suffer for things far beyond our control while doing nothing.

i would say go to a different church.
that church isn't going to change and you aren't in a position to change it.
you have learned a lot.
consider starting your own church or joining one that doesn't seem to have the problems (but trust me every institution including every church has some problems which will become evident after awhile)

You really shouldnt watch what other people are doing. You relationship is between you and God and not the click. The click are creating more work for themselves by not increasing their personal relationships with God, instead they are increasing their relationships with each other which isnt as beneficial. Your best out of it.

If it's been going on for three years and nothing has changed, I would make sure that the pastor/minister is aware of my feeling on the situation. If no solution is reached I would change places of worship

Talk to your pastor and then find another church.
