I usually feel so giddy and happy I say it quick, sometimes the guy will beat me to it. But, i always think ---- is it too soon?

Never say it before you really feel it!
It can scare some people off if they are not the commitment type and there is a sort of unspoken obligation to return the comment, so too early could put the other under unwanted stress.
But never saying it can make the other feel unloved. I'm a firm believer in actions speak louder than words!

Don't say it unless you mean it. I usually don't know it's real until at least 5 months into the relationship. But I knock those giddy feelings off when I think about "forever".

To be honest some people don't know the meaning of love!
I thought i loved my ex husband, but the feelings i have for my partner now, are much more than I've ever had.
You will know when the time is right, if you truly feel love then say it, there is nothing wrong with showing your feelings!
And if you don't get the replie your wanting, then its not worth your tears.

If you or he says it soon, it's quite probably not love you are feeling but infatuation or lust.
Wait a few months and see how you feel when the 'new' wears off. That's when you can determine if it's love or just the attraction of a new relationship. Then, when you are sure you're actually feeling love...say it when you feel like saying it.

That's not something you put a time frame on. It depends on you and how you feel. When you or that person feels that you love this person then there's nothing wrong with expressing it but to say oh within a certain time frame, that's not possible because you can't say when you will feel the love for a person.

sometimes you'll say these things in the heat of the moment or whatever. If you immediately start to regret it, then you probably don't feel like that, you just got carried away.
Say it as soon as you mean it though. Better to say it and be wrong than to not say it when you really want to.

You can be so happy that it feels like you are in love,and it is hard to tell whether it is love.You can only say what you feel, try next time when you want to say,"at this monment in time i feel that i am really in love" that way if you do change your mind or feel that the time wasn't right you won't have doubts.

When you truly know you do - not when there's lust.
Usually when you know you'll do anything for them - when theyre the first person you think of when you wake in the morning and the last when you go to sleep. When you think you couldnt handle them ever not being around.
So...4 months of having a good relationship i'd say

When you think the appropriate situation arises. it also depends ongthe relationship itself. If you think you aready to say it, then do. There is no time like the present. Mind you someone told me they loved me after 3 days - I thought - Oh my god and was speechless as I didnt feel anything. Needless to say, it didnt last

I don't think you have to say it at all! You can usually tell if someone loves you. Or write it on a Valentines card. Not long till then.
