What? God left his keys in Hell? Glad he found them. They were probably behind the couch.

He wasn't consigned there, he was sent there to fetch the keys of death, hell and the grave for surely he came back from there.

Maybe you should read what Jesus did in hell.
He went there to preach, as shown in 1Peter 3:18-20;

18 ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

He was not consigned to hell because of some unjust Father or because He was a sinner.
He actually went there to preach to the sinners that were there.

The above quote from 1Peter is the only accounting of what went on in hell when Jesus went there.
There is nothing about Jesus wrestling the keys to hell from Satan even thought I have heard that in many churches.

Maybe hell to God and Jesus is not the same thing it is to people who do not know what it is.

So what is hell and how do people find out? Acts 2:27-35 and who is foe to who?

Gen.6:2,4 Angels sin before flood.
Jude 6; 1Pet.3:18-20; 2Pet.2:4; Angels are in tartarus prison hell, if Jesus went to visit them, how bad can it be, the wait for judgement day 1Cor.6:2,3 Saints are judges.
Luke 20:34-36 Angels do not die.

your right, God does.Before Jesus died on the cross,when a person died he went to "the Grave". Even then, the good people went to a good place and the bad folks to another.The good and the bad where aware of one another,but could not cross over.The bible tells a story about one guy who could see all the good things another had,and begged for just a drop of water to cool his burning tongue,but didn't get it...When Jesus died he went down into the earth,grave,hell,sheol,gehenna(it had a lot of different names)and he brought all the good people with him UP into heaven!!! Here's another kicker,I've been told there are different levels even in heaven.WOW.Many things I don't understand,but this I know...I want to be be heaven rather than any other place :-)
