I also get annoyed by others people ticks. I got this friend who cackles when she laughs and it's like fingers on a chalboard to me.

You're not alone. I'm very much annoyed by little ticks that people (especially my husband) have. The shaking the foot thing bugs the hell out of me. He usually does it at the dining room table, and his shaking foot always seems to manage to touch the table leg, thus shaking the table. So, he's sitting there with his elbows on the table, chewing with his mouth wide open, and shaking his foot. What would you do? I really feel that I might lose it some nights.
He also has this habit of picking his finger nails. Not becuase they're dirty--just something to do I guess. Pick. Pick. Pick.
My mom has a horribly annoying habit of chewing with her mouth open and smacking her food, but only while she's on the phone. THAT makes my skin crawl. If we're eating in person, she has impeccable table manners, but over the phone--I don't know. Maybe she thinks she's being cute.

All people have little "ticks" just get married and you'll find a bunch. That means you have a few too. Tolerating ticks is just good manners but if I had a friend that chewed with her mouth open I would find a nice way to let her know just how bad it looks. I would joke off the person bouncing everyone around. . .must be a guy. Give him the whoa horsey stuff. He should laugh but keep it light. If it was my boss, I would probably keep my mouth shut and tolerate like the well paid employee I am and go find something to do.

I have know this lady that when she talks to you she puts her hand on your shoulder and she gets right up in your face, I can't stand it.
I think they call the pet pees annoying things that people do that you cannot stand, everyones pet pees are different usual with some similarities. It does not bother me when someone is swinging their leg, because I have a son that is constantly in motion, but I cannot stand it when someone sets down in a waiting room and just digs through their purse, my mother used to do that, and the funny thing is that she had the same dang stuff in it she had always had.

As you can see you're not alone. And for just as many "tics" that drive us wild, rest assured, we have as many that drive others wild. The two that make me the craziest is someone channel surfing while watching television with others and someone who bounces their knee up and down at 75 miles per hour. Oh, and there's one more, tapping. Fingernails on the table, pencil on the table. Any kind of continuous tapping; makes me crazy. Now if I'm tapping that's another story but DO NOT let someone else do it...........!

It annoys me to hear someone chewing there food loudly and with their mouth open.
Also, I hate when you have a pack of cookies, and its 4 left. Then someone takes 3 and leave 1 cookie. Take all 4 of them. That really irks me.

I hate when people smack when they talk, especially if they are using a microphone because it accentuates the smacking sound.
But then again I tend to compulsively tap my fingers, bounce my feet, or rock back and forth without thinking about it, so I'm sure I annoy my fair share of people as well! :)

It really depends on how long you've know the person. If I see a complete doing something odd, it won't really bother me; I might just say it's disgusting or whatever and move on.
But if I know the person and see them on a regular basis, the ticks drive me absolutely INSANE! And you can't really say anything about it.
So, console yourself in the fact that you're not the only one.

I try to focus on other things and remember that I may have habits that are equally annoying to others. You're not intolerant, you've just not decided to focus on something else yet and ignore it.

I could be annoyed by them, at certain times, if I am irritable, but usualy I try to be oblivious to those kinds of things. I just tune that stuff out.
