Actually, if you think about, Satan's a hero! He stood up against The Man! The original Social Anarchist!

One of the common mistakes is that satan is the ruler of hell, or that he runs or controls it. According to the Bible, the person who holds the keys of Death and Hell is Jesus Christ (see Revelation 1:18). Satan neither owns or controls hell. It belongs to God. Rather satan will be the first prisoner in the place.

Satan wants to be like God in that He wants to have total control over heaven and earth. He wants to be all knowing. He wants evil to control all aspects of this life and the next. Nothing like heaven.
