Everybody is going to hang out at the bar after work.. The invited me,, knowing how much I hate bars... should I go?

Sure, why not go and enjoy yourself? There are no rules that you have to go and drink, if that is the reason you don't like bars. Just go and have fun. I'm not sure of your work situation either. Where I work now, if you do go, you're kind of looked down upon. Conversely, where I used to work, it was the other way around. The only reason I can see not going, is if you're like me and not that crazy about the smoke. If that's the case, then see if they're willing to go somewhere not as smoky.

Well if you hate bars then I'd say you shouldn't go. Tell them that you're busy or something. Personally, I wouldn't want to go either. Not only am I never going to drink alcohol, but I wouldn't want to be inhaling all that second hand smoke. :)

why not, dont let just one bad experience ruin the experiences you could have in the future.. go to the bar if you dont like it leave.. easy as..
better being out with your mates rather than sitting at home on the internet all night
