Natural disaster is named such for a reason. It is a natural occurence. We we cannot stop it. Changes in our weather atmosphere and other factors are the reason they happen I would say.

There is no more evidence that natural disasters are being caused by global warming than there is that they are being caused by our failure to convert to Christianity.

And there AREN'T more or worse natural disasters than has previously been the case. It's a bigger population and a wealthier population with more developed property. Guess what, when you have a coastal development boom and a doubling in real estate prices over six years, the damage from coastal storms is going to rise!

The "global warming will cause more disasters" crowd told us the 2006 hurricane season was going to be worse than 2005 in the US. And what happened? Not a single hurricane struck the US. Not ONE.

This is William Miller all over again, except instead of ascension robes they're selling fuel taxes.

ultimately all natural disasters are being caused due to rise in human population. Do you know that Tsunami on december,26 which shocked whole world , was declared manmade. Only solution of natural disaster is stop population growth and use the
natural resources provided by earth carfully.

An increase in disasters are based on many factors. I don't if I believe there are more natural disaster per say, I think that with the advent of world new 24/7 (CNN,MSNBC,FOX) we just hear about them more.

yes we can stop natural disasters by extending the force of our hard work and also put in some restrictions to safe guard the environment for we are the main cause of this environmental disaster.

the earth is a living thing. we cannot stop Natural disasters. I think global warming is a bunch of fooey. Read Michael Crichton's book "State of Fear" -its very interesting
