He liked me before but i had a bf then and now i like him a LOT but i dont kno if he still likes me. Should i ask him to the school dance (girls ask guys) b4 someone else does or what?? cos we're pretty close and i dont wanna ruin our friendship or anything

Sure, go for it. If he liked you before, then chances are he still likes you. I'd go ahead and ask him - that way you won't have any regrets. Also, what's the worse thing that can happen? He could say no. If that's the case, what's the real harm or damage in it? Nothing really - it doesn't mean your fat or ugly or boring or whatever, it just means he said no to you THIS TIME. Who knows, he may have other plans, but is kicking himself in the but because he did have other plans. Hope this help and good luck to you.

Unless you did something to him to make him stop liking you then you can be sure he still likes you. By all means ask him to the dance, it sounds like you two are going to have a good time.
