It is so hard to get over your first love. Perhaps even impossible.

I had a boyfriend about 4 1/2 years ago that I feel that I am still in love with I think of him often even though I have been with 2 other guys since our breakup. I still love a guy I recently ended it with also. It is so hard to get over some men.

My mom and dad divorced about 28 years ago. When my dad died 20 or so years later I noticed that my mom was crying. I asked her why she was crying and she told me, just because I divorced him doesn't mean I stopped loving him. I think once you become emotionally bonded with someone, that feeling never goes away. Hence the reason a lot of people end up going back to an ex when they think they've changed.

Uuuhgggggg! It's been almost 2 years and I still can't fully get over this guy. He is the guy that I will be without and I can't be with.

its been 3 years and im still in love with him!

when i see him i cant take my eyes off him, and all i want to do is be with him again! its so upsetting because he is completely over me - he's had two other girlfriends. and i dont want him to know that im still hung up over him, b/c i know he doesnt feel the same way.

I had only one guy that I was interested in but he told me how his mom dying and he might go blind I took pity on him but when my friends told me what he was really like I got really mad and hoped that he would never speak to me. however he was the only one who paid any attention to me at the time. So I wanted him back.

I have many good memories and a lot of bad ones too. It is normal to hold on to the good ones. And to quote the old song"if you can't be with the one you love, honey, love the one your with".
