"after they raped many Okinawan high school girls??" Now that's an unfair statement. There were only 2 cases within the past 17 years where service members were convicted. And I do agree with it. Having that base there ensures you can make derogatory remarks about our Military without repercussion.

Hummm, in war many atrocities happen on both sides, strange how Liberals jump at the chance to tell the world how horrible the U.S. is but forget other nations brutality... the Bataan death march for example, Nazi death camps, Hussein's butchering of millions of his political enemies... etc...

Are you talking about the two military personel who were convicted of rape? Why should that determine the validity of the base there?
Let's see if I can make an adaquate comparision. There are rapes in New York City of young girls frequently. Should we pull all the people out of NYC?
You start holding all the rest of the population to the same standards you want to hold the military to then we'll talk.

Ask japan and I think they will tell you to leave the base there. You see after WWII the Japanese signed an agreement that prevents them from having large troop levels so we put bases there for two purposes. 1) it helps US keep a presents in the area which helps to prevent wars through the show of might (Kind of like The Great White Fleet) 2) our troops serve as their defense. Take you Anti American, uninformed butt to school and read a little about history. Recommended book for you is The US Navy's " Blue Jacket Manual".

You don't cut down all the trees because one or two are bad. They have not rape that many, even if one is to many. When I was over there I had many young girl asking for sex for money. No I didn't entertain them but I also know that some girls would sale themselves then cry rape to get more money.

I think they let rapist in the military.It doesn't matter where those guys are stationed they would have raped some other girl.A rapist is a rapist.When I was stationed in Germany it happened their also.But that should not reflect on the whole military because some sleaze bag raped.They need to prosecute them to the fullest,which ever country that it happens in.

The latest rape I could find using google was in 2001. I bet if you did a little research, you would find that there are more rapes by Japanese citizens than by US servicemembers.
