Child Tax Credit in Georgia?

My husband has a N90 and I will be using the 1040.. can we get the child tax credit if we are married and filing separately or do we need to file it together? is there a way is he has to owe tax money because he did not get it taken off his check?

The child tax credit is the same in all states. Check with the IRS to make sure...
