The best way in widen your range is to practice singing and HOLDING high notes and low notes. Do this in the car as loudly as you can when you are along. This make your vocal cord flexible.

Sing in Full Voice not Falsetto. Nothing wrong with Falsetto, But if you want to sing like a man and hit higher notes, you need to exercise your vocal cords and sing in full voice. Make sure you always have plenty of air for the note you're singing.

Also, keep your chin down when singing high notes.

Singing high takes alot of Air. Breathe and Sing. Let it out! Project the sound like you are singing to someone at the other end of the football field. Then you will sound like a Man

There are certain things that can improve your range, but at some point your falsetto will kick in (which is the part you think sounds like a woman). There is nothing wrong with having a falsetto. Actually (you may be shocked to hear this) bass' and baritones have better falsetto's than most tenors and can actually go a bit high than many. It's the way the vocal chords are made.

Tenor is all about the high feminine sound. It's ok to sound a little bit feminine when reaching these notes.

how is your speaking voice? female timbre and pitch are not that puzzling to realize, yet you would be on the the terrific option of your submit-puberty "organic" variety, and better notes are going to be elusive. i used to sing baritone. now i sing contralto. that's going to do. that's going to might desire to. my pitch is on the low area (e.g. julia roberts), yet i pass the telephone attempt a hundred%. i'm able to experience madonna's decrease variety (e.g "vogue"), yet amanda lear is purely too low, even for me. :-) i propose you re-evaluate your expectancies. there are transsexual women human beings available with good submit-puberty making a song voices (dana international, nomi ruiz), yet they too have a tendency to be on the low area.
