The guys who aren't shallow (and would treat women with respect) can't find dates, the girls seem to like the bad boys over the nerds.

Guys are not shallow. Some PEOPLE are shallow which means some GUYS are shallow. If I used your logic I would question why women generalize. However, I am mature enough to know that generalizations do not make sense.

Why do you keep selecting shallow guys? evidently you have not yet met the great ones. Get out of your box and meet other kinds of guys. The places where you meet guys has a lot to do with their personalities. If you meet them at bars and wild parties, what do you expect? Serious, responsible, caring men?
On the other hand, what are you expectations on a guy? To please you and always make you happy no matter what you can give in return? (I'm not talking about sex here, but abiut your own heart). Have you thought how shallow you are perceived by others?

Guys and girls are both shallow, just about different things. Guys look at the body primarily, and women look at the pocketbook primarily.
Both guys and girls exist that aren't shallow, but if you waste all your time ruminating on why guys are so shallow, you won't be proactively using your time to find one that isn't.

Wanna do it? Just joking..lol. Well it depends on whether people are on the same page regarding their needs and interests. Don't worry I've met lots of shallow women in my time on earth. No one has a monopoly on shallowness. Just keep looking hon.

Men usually see things a face value.
Women usually look for substance.
In terms of dating these, men see women at face value. They usually don't look into the future. Women look at a man for what he can be after marriage. So women can look past small problems if the man can be a good supporter.
Thet's why there are so many older men with younger women. The women see the men a stable and able to support her financially and emotionally.
Men that are dating look a women and think how good they look at that moment on time.
As a movie quote says: For Sex: Women need a reason and men need a place.

The same could be said of women, my dear. Anyone can be shallow. Why are people shallow? I don't know. You'd have to ask one.

For one thing It might be in response to womens shallowness as men will do anything to be with women.
If you are strong you will attract strong men.
If you have a problem attracting shallow men the solution I believe would be too look in the mirror and fix what you see before you attempt to fix anyone....
