what will god say when us non-believers see him and we ask him. god, how could you allow your followers to rape women and murder men and children. how could you give permission to your chosen to murder others. how come you created evil? how come you punish us for your creation of the tree and ingraved in us the lack of knowledge of right and wrong? how could u suffer 42 youths to be mauled by a bear? how could you drown so many? how can you do all this and then not forgive us for not beleiving this one religion out of 10,000?
do you think god will merely say, "im god, i can do what i want?"
what do you think he would say?

actually he did command his people to kill others.
example:
Leviticus 24:13-14
13 Then the LORD said to Moses: 14 "Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him.

I do not believe God controls everything that happens in this world. God is not some magic genie. But God can intervene in our lives thru prayer. Why does he spare some and not others who pray? I don't know. We must continue to praise him in bad times as well as good. I do know he has the answer to the sin and evil in the world, but the majority choose not to believe and follow.
God gave man intelligence and also responsibility. People eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil every day. He told us what was out there--but Satan created the evil, not God. It is our responsibility to hold our own selves accountable for eating of that tree.
There is a battle bet. good and evil in the world--not some metaphorical battle but a real one in our own lives. God gives us the power to win that battle.
Sorry I can't explain any better.
Added: If God had not placed that tree in the garden, we would be little more than animals. Not that the tree makes us human, but that we have the ability to chose. We can Chose which one we eat from, the tree of knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life.

If you are truly a "non-believer" why bother yourself with such issues? Live life, sin boldly, and die. IF there was a God, and he was to fully answer your questions, what would YOU do with the knowledge?

True born again Christians do NOT murder or rape people - I don't know where you got that trash from, but it's false. You've evidently got some misinformation from somewhere. It is those who are outside of Christ that murder - those who do NOT know Christ as their Savior that murder and rape and commit crimes. True Christians like myself know that such sins as murder, rape, robbery, etc. are sin and are evil acts against Him. Anyone can claim they're 'Christian', but it's another thing to live the life of a Chrisitan. 'Saying' and 'doing' are two different things.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. When they sinned against God, that is when the earth was cursed. God is NOT responsible for mans' disobedience - MAN is! Better read the bible - it tells all. If you read the bible, you wouldn't be misinformed as you are.
In response to your additional answer, God did not command anyone to murder others. His people in the OT (Christians - followers of God) were commanded by God to destroy those who were disobedient to Him; those who refuse to follow God. 'Murder' and 'judgment' are two different things. It was His way of bringing judgment on those who deny Him. It was not murder - it was judgment. And, furthermore, there WERE Christians in the bible - Noah, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Elijah, Isaiah, Job, etc. and the list goes on. God gives life; He is the Creator, so therefore, he has the right to take away life It isn't murder, but judgment on those who are against Him and refuse to believe in Him. WE do not have the right to take away another life, but God DOES - He giveth life and has the right to take it away.
Job 4:7-9 - Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? 8 - EVen as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. 9 - By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
Job 1:21 - And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
2 Thess. 1:7,8 - And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 - In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the verse you mentioned in Leviticus, the answer to why the person was stoned was because of blasphemy! Again, it goes back to God's judgment on those who blaspheme and rebel against him. Because of blashemy and denial of God, the person was stoned. Understand?

All fall short of the glory of God...ALL.
A person who has truly accepted Christ will change their behavior. That doesn't mean they won't sin again, all men sin.
Repenting means to turn away from your sin...renounce it.
God didn't choose this world for us. We fell here because of sin.The Holy Spirit will convict you my Friend...answer His call.

2 Timothy 2:11-13
11 - "If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.
12 - If we continue to endure, we shall also rule with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.
13 - If we are not faithful, he remains faithful, because he cannot be false to himself"

If you are a non-believer then you will not get a chance to ask that question... You might ask Satan why he lied to you
