Is it true that our lives are defined by the establishment (family, social, local, government, global)? Is a co-dependent epidemic, blind obedience, fostered by deprivation of inner silence derived from busyness?

Yes and that's why I stop and take a break during the day. It restores me and sometimes it enlightens me.

I want to live in a way that satisfies me, not society. There are lots of things that society finds "acceptable" but I don't. Quiet reflection is a necessity, given the world we live in today.
