People always ask what you do for a living, but I think that can go negative fast since most people don't like their jobs. Instead, ask him what he likes to do in his spare time, his hobbies and interests. Ask where he grew up, went to school, where he works, but don't dwell on work if he doesn't seem keen on discussing it.
I don't know how you got this blind date. A con might be that you don't know anything about this person. However, a pro would be that if you don't like him, you'll never have to see him again. ;) Hope you have a good time!

Dont ask question, Just have a good time. 2nd dates are where real questions should come in. 1st date is to get out of the house and have a good time.
