ok im planning on bleaching my hair today [just some parts], and my hair is naturally really really dark brown [looks black], so its gonna take a couple of times for me to get it white. is there some type of product you'd recommend so that my hair wont fall out or mess up that badly?

First make sure you're getting a really good bleach in the first place that way you're not having to do tons of bleach applications (more than likely you won't get to "white" in the first try).
Also make sure it has tones to it like violet or blue. Lots of bleach kits will specify that to prevent brassiness.
Get your hands on a good toner if you have access to a store that carries them.
Use that and a 20 volume devoloper on your hair your bleach it. That'll help get it really light.
Good luck. I bet your hair's going to look awesome. I love dark hair with platnium in it.

To be honest, unless you are using salon quality bleach with 40 volume you are most likely going to end up looking slightly orange. If you don't have any other color on your hair already you should be okay, but I would suggest a test strand first.

it may take more than one bleaching, but you should only bleach your hair once today, and again in about two weeks, also, as soon as you have finished each time you bleach, deep condition, if you don't want to buy a deep conditioner, take your regular conditioner, and put it on your hair after you towel dry it, let your hair almost dry with the conditioner in it, then rinse it out, this will help your hair keep its moisture, and it shouldn't be as fried.

your hair want fall out i ve dyed mine 10 times in a month and it didnt fall out but remember bleach is bad real bad on hair so condition it weeks after to help keep it healthy.and you might want to get it done at a salon because if you dont leave the dye on long enough it will leave it a bananna yellow not a blonde so becareful

use a 40 volume with lightner then use the opposite color of what your hair will be to ofset into blonde, actually you would be better off going to a professional
