If she's married to a citizen then she should be able to file for Adjustment of Status and at the same time file for a work permit. After getting the work permit, which takes 3-6 months I believe, she can take it to the social security office and get an SSN, after that, she can use the SSN and the work permit to get a driver's license.

If she is leagaly married to a citizen of this country and has a child that was born in this country, she will not be deported. She needs to contact the Texas BMV and they can give her the info she needs to get her license. If she is cought driving without a license she could be arrested and would then be ineligable to get one for a period of six months to a year and fined. She should get her paper work straight as soon as possible before she gets herself into trouble.

I can't speak to Texas law, but in Florida you need to have proof that you are in the country legally before you can get a license. That proof can be just a letter from immigration saying that they are processing your application for a green card.

I even have in no way been greater extreme approximately answering a query. there is not any way illegals could be allowed to vote nor acquire drivers licenses. the only factor illegals are allowed is a experience back around the border of their close by us of a. this question is like asking if criminals in penal complex might decide for to pass loose. needless to say a query like that shouldn't additionally be on the table. i individually do no longer think of the assumption is extensively understood. i think of the assumption of regulation could be inserted interior the college device someplace interior the mid-grade college point. rules are to be observed no longer an impediment to get around.

I think people just need to follow the law and do things legally instead of trying to work the system.
