The food that you are feeding it!! Certain foods create flatulence in dogs and from personal experience raw chicken or Roo will make them windier than a tornado and so "RIPE" you could just about smell it 50 metres away. Any way try changing its food one item at a time until you find the culprit.
PS remember to change one item for a few days then go back to it when you change something else.
PPS if you have visitors that never know when to leave... feed the dog some raw chicken and sit the dog basket next to them.. a few hours later they will be turning green and only too happy to leave!

Probably an intolerance to food product. Cheaper dog foods contain A LOT of fillers that dogs in the wild would never have. Ask vet, and spend extra on high quality food. Also, it's truly illuminating that men are the only gender who fart! I have sisters and they farted until they discovered boys.....Maybe men are just a little more honest when it comes to that aspect of the human machine? C'mon ladies! Let 'em rip! We won't think any less of you! Well, under the sheets is gross, male or female...

lmao It's alot easier to break your boyfriend of this habit then it is your dog! My dog has got some raunchy gas, and I have no clue where it came from!!

The only way to get him to :stop", per se, would be to change his diet. Table scraps and alot of can food can give animals alot, and really stinky farts. Getting regular dog food(I recomend Purina or Iams), and mixing it with water, or canned food, can ease the gas.
Talk to your vet about getting is some gas-x, bean-o, or maybe myceline drops, to releive the gas.
Regular exercise could help a bit too.

Good luck, and let me know how it goes! LOL I'd like to try it on MY rank dog!!

Dogs fart because of what they're being fed. If you feed your boyfriend beans he'll get gas smae pricipal with different food of course. Most dogs get bloated with chicken and beef don't feed them a lot of those and they should fart less otherwise consult ur vet. You can apply this pricipal to your boyfriend as well

ha ha I hear you on the bf does too. As far as your dog what kind of food do you feed him? Dry or Wet? Also what brand. Go to your local Pet Smart or petco and get a bag of Natures Recipe. Best food! It cuts down on the gas, stool, shedding and bad breath. That brand is really easy to digest for your dog and has no bad ingredients. If you get it from Pet Smart there is a money back guarantee. Also stay away from any human foods for your dog.

I don't know about the boyfriend, but your dog may have an intolerance to corn (which is a staple in most dog foods). Look for a dog food without cornmeal and see if that helps

It depends on what you are feeding him, check with your vet to see if you can fix it.
