Ok, here's what happened. I thought my rooommate went home for the weekend. when I woke up this morning, I didn't bother to get dressed before making coffee. I turn around in the kitchen and there's my roommate. He averted his eyes and looked all awkward (didn't say anything). Should I apologize to him, explain what happened, or just pretend like nothing happened? Thanks.

What's the big deal? It's your roomie...stuff happens. Like you said, you expected him to be gone and didn't bother with putting clothes on. I make naked coffee every morning, but it's just me and my hubby here - no big deal.
I would just say "sorry, man, I didn't mean to give you a show - I thought you were gone and didn't think clothes mattered since I don't care what I look like. Hope you don't have nightmares". That way you are apologizing for the oversight, and also injecting a bit of humor will soften the "uncomfortable" sensation, lol. From now on, toss on some pj pants or something, just in case...then once you know it safe, strip if desired. Take care! :)

I wouldn't worry about it. If he is totally freaked out and says something, you can explain it, but one of the things about living with someone is you run the chance of seeing each other in awkward positions, overhearing things you didn't really want to hear, etc. Keep a robe by your bed to throw on next time you venture outside your room and let it go at that.
Peace

Simply say that. You thought he wasn't there, and that you are sorry for your mistake. Trust me it's not the end of the world, I have seen my roomates naked loads of times.

It happens, and it's not like he hasn't seen it before right. It's just a naked body there are far worse things that could go on in your home.

If that were to happen to me, I would probably apologize saying that I did not know he was there. And well that's it.. it's done already.. you can't go back in time and change what already happened. Just be careful next time, no big deal!

Honest mistake. I think you should play it off like more of a joke. Apologize but it can be a laughing apology. You guys will probably joke about it in the future.

laugh about it. make naked jokes all the time. when your roommate comes home next time yell out "i'm naked" just to see what he does. that happened to me too. bringing it out it the open and making it funny will make it less awkward for the both of you.

Forget about it! Pretend nothing happened or bring like three girls to your dorm to proove that u are not gay!

Just in case your room mate thinks you are which is bad!

Say, Dude/Bro I thought you left, did you like the view? He'll laugh, no need to be embarrassed.

On time my roommate depants me when I wasn't wearing underware, which make it even more funny.

Well i don't think its such a big deal. An apology may help but it's not like no ones seen anything like it before.
