I've been seeing this really sweet guy for a few weeks, and he hasn't been pushy about getting physical at all. We've fooled around a bit, but no sex. He tells me when I'm ready, it will happen. Well, I'm ready for this big step but here's the problem...I'm usually very shy and reserved, and I've never really initiated first-time sex with anyone before. How can I let him know I want to take things a little further?

Well, if you know you are ready, first -- please be sure you or him, or both of you use protection (after all, I do not think you want to become pregnant). Ask him to take you away for a weekend "mini-vacation" so the two of you can have some special time together -- this is so much better than a quickie at your or his place or a hotel for a few hours. Get a place with a hot-tub and a place where you can enjoy each other for a couple of days. In the long run, this will probably be better, and certainly more romantic!

Buy cooking things he like and buying puting on something sexy and wear it around the house everyday and whisper in his ear and say all you ready for my hot goods because i have a lot of them waiting for you and put some nice strawberries all over the bed with a nice cup of hot chocalate and watch a nice flick so y'all can be all in to it i promise you it will work my cousin do it all the time everytime she meet her a new guy she put on some sexy clothesand walk around the house all day.

Have "the talk." Mention that you want to be prepared for when you are both ready. So ask about past relationships, testing, results, preferred method of birth control, etc...
