You should pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, for guidance and strength and know that He will take care of you. It is also very wise to study the Holy Bible so you know what to expect and you won't be caught off gaurd when situations arise. God bless you.

Read Revelations. Hal Lindsey's Late Great Planet Earth is a brilliant bridge to one who is lazy or does not have the time to sift through it and be frustrated or discouraged if it does not come immediately. You will prepare by being EDUCATED. You will see **** happen, and you will know why and how and what to do. Plus praying is good too, but I take a more intellectual view on it. I trust God wants me to find my answers actively, not to sit there and wait for magical signs telling me what to do.

Jesus will come back to earth some day, and when He does, He will judge the world. The Bible doesn't tell us exactly when He will come again—but we can be sure that "our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed" (Romans 13:11).

How can you be ready for that day? First, be sure of your own commitment to Christ; only then will you be prepared for His coming. His return, the Bible says, will come suddenly and catch most people by surprise, because they have ignored God and lived only for them. Don't let that be true of you. Instead, turn by faith to Christ, confessing your sins to Him and trusting Him alone as your Lord and Savior.

Second, put Christ at the center of your life. What kind of person does He want you to be? How does He want you to live? Make it your goal to live for Christ instead of for yourself. Let His love fill you, and ask Him to help you show His love to others.

When we truly know Christ, we will welcome His return instead of fearing it. He has saved us by His death on the cross, and we know nothing can separate us from His love. But we don't want to be ashamed because we haven't been living for Him. The Bible says, "Continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming" (1 John 2:28).

My advice would be to give me yr car, house and other assorted earthly belongings. After all, you and yr dearest will ascend to Heaven leaving the likes of me to FESTER in the fiery and unrelenting bowels of Hell. You have nothing to lose. I will be suffering unimaginable torture! Sigh.

BTW, If you could give yr car and home a wee clean, I'll be round next week.

LOL!!!

The government is suggesting that you have a 'safe room" in you basement, with supplies, etc. That will only help for a short time, of course.

The US government would probably tell you to get under a school desk and cover it with plastic sheeting and duct tape.
