Well when you apply for either federal or state financial aid, they give u a chance to choose if u just want to apply for fanatical aid or work study or other types, you should ask a school advisor to tell you where you can find a way to get money other than loans, I don't know any sites, but I’ve heard that depending on your race, nationality etc. you are, you can apply for scholarships. Other than that I don't know what else is there. The best thing is to just ask your school advisor.

If you do any sports, do really well at them and you'd be amazed at the scholarships you can get.

One girl from my high school did swimming and did it extremely well (broke Ohio's records and won state 3 years straight). She got a full scholarship to Notre Dame for how good of a swimmer she was.

If you work really hard, you might be able to get a scholarship for that sport.

Essay contests (free money) and scholarships are the best way to go. You are going to have to put effort in if you want anything.
